Right from the beginning of the match, the two teams entered the game at high speed and organized a tight playing style. Against an opponent with good professional quality, the Vietnam U20 women's players played focused, maintained reasonable formation distance and were proactive in dispute situations.
After a goalless first half, coach Okiyama Masahiko's team created a turning point at the beginning of the second half. In the 51st minute, from a corner kick situation, Khanh Vy jumped high to head accurately, opening the score for U20 Vietnam women's team.
Having a goal lead, the red-shirted players continued to maintain a disciplined game and increase pressure on the opponent's defense. From an effective pressing situation, a defender of KSPO club passed back carelessly, making the goalkeeper confused, creating an opportunity for U20 Vietnam women's team to score more goals, thereby sealing a 2-0 victory.

Assessing the performance of the whole team after the match, coach Okiyama Masahiko said that the players played focused, disciplined and showed a high determination. However, the coaching staff believes that the team still has many points to continue to improve in the process of preparing for the upcoming tournament.
In this match, Vietnam U20 women's team not only organized tight defense but also proactively regained ball control to deploy counter-attacks. Through this, the players gradually adapted to the pace of the match and accumulated more experience before entering the official tournament.
On the opponent's side, KSPO club is considered a team with good professional quality with speed, individual technique and fairly smooth short-range coordination. However, with a spirit of solidarity and determination, U20 Vietnam women's team achieved positive results in this friendly match.
According to the plan, the Vietnam U20 women's team will have another friendly match with a Chinese women's football club on March 14 to improve their expertise.
At the end of the training camp, on March 15, the whole team will return to Vietnam and move to Ho Chi Minh City to enter the final preparation phase. In the two weeks of sprint, coach Okiyama Masahiko and his team are expected to have two more friendly matches with the Uzbekistan U20 women's team on March 24 and March 27 before participating in the 2026 AFC U20 Women's Championship finals.
