The notable highlight of this training session is the appearance of overseas Vietnamese player born in 2006 Linda Pham. This young striker has just joined the team and entered his first training session with the U20 Vietnam women's team.
According to the introduction, Linda Pham is a Vietnamese national, born and raised in the Netherlands in a family with both a Vietnamese father and mother. Linda Pham is 1m68 tall. She started playing football at the age of 6, currently playing for a club in the Netherlands with the strengths of midfielder and striker.
Despite her limited Vietnamese capital, Linda Pham quickly integrated thanks to the friendly and enthusiastic support of her teammates. Her presence not only increases the choice of squad but also brings a new breeze and a positive competitive atmosphere in the Vietnam U20 women's team.
On the coaching staff side, head coach Okiyama Masahiko said: "We are gradually perfecting the personnel and tactics for the qualifying round. The players are all very determined, especially with the upcoming important matches against Kyrgyzstan, Singapore and Hong Kong (China). Having new faces like Linda Pham will give the team more options and momentum".
In the coming days, the team will continue to practice both physically and tactically, while conducting internal matches and training to check the performance of each position.
