All the sung shooter groups of the Vietnam Shooting Team, including Pham Quang Huy and Trinh Thu Vinh, returned home on December 2. The training program in Korea has helped improve expertise for the 33rd SEA Games.

According to research in Korea, each shooter has practiced thoroughly from mentality to technique to achieve the highest form loss score in the decisive stage of the 33rd SEA Games. Last November, these two shooters competed in the 2025 Southeast Asian Championship held in Thailand and both won good results.

In their careers, Pham Quang Huy and Trinh Thu Vinh participated in the 31st SEA Games in Vietnam in 2022. However, each shooter has not won an individual gold medal at the 31st SEA Games. The Vietnamese shooting team expects Trinh Thu Vinh and Pham Quang Huy to achieve the highest results at the upcoming 33rd SEA Games.

In addition to Pham Quang Huy and Trinh Thu Vinh, the pistol event has trained many shooters in Korea including Ha Minh Thanh, Nguyen Dinh Thanh, Nguyen Thuy Trang, Nguyen Thuy Dung, Lai Cong Minh... The Vietnam shooting team registered 23 shooters officially to participate in the 33rd SEA Games.

At this time, shooters in the rifle event are training in Thailand to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games. In the training session, there are 2 important shooters, Phi Thanh Thao and Le Thi Mong Tuyen.
