Causes affecting coffee prices

Current coffee prices are affected by many factors:

Supply from Brazil and Vietnam: Although supply is abundant, sales tend to slow down as farmers expect prices to continue to increase.

Activities of hedge funds: hedge funds limit sell-offs, helping the market to be more stable.

Robusta inventories fall: ICE-supervised Robusta coffee inventories have fallen to a two-month low, creating momentum for prices to increase.

USD Index: The fluctuations of the USD affect the prices of goods, including coffee.

Coffee price forecast

According to experts, coffee prices may continue to fluctuate in the short term due to continued supply pressure. However, in the medium term, the market can recover when consumption demand increases again and supply shows signs of decreasing.
