Domestic coffee prices are stable in the highlands
This afternoon, July 20, the survey showed that the average price of green coffee beans in provinces and regions ranges from 93,500 - 93,800 VND/kg. Lam Dong has the lowest price of 93,500 VND/kg, while Dak Lak and Gia Lai both reached 93,800 VND/kg.
Compared to the beginning of the week (September 15), coffee prices have increased by about 2,000 VND/kg. In particular, the current price of VND 93,800/kg has approached the peak established in mid-June 2025, when coffee once exceeded VND 94,700/kg.
Mixed world coffee prices
On the London Stock Exchange, Robusta futures for September 2025 delivery closed at 3,348 USD/ton, up 36 USD compared to yesterday and up 132 USD compared to the end of last week. Longer terms such as 05/2026 also increased by 30 - 38 USD/ton in the past week.
In contrast, the New York Stock Exchange recorded Arabica prices adjusted down in the last session of the week. The September 2025 delivery period decreased by 3.6 cents to 303.6 cents/lb. However, compared to the beginning of the week (September 15), Arabica prices remained high, having exceeded 310 cents/lb in the previous session.
Positive signals this week
Looking back at the last trading week, domestic coffee prices have increased for 3 consecutive sessions from July 15 to 17, before stagnating and moving sideways for the two weekend days. Although it has not been able to return to the peak of VND94,700/kg, the current price of VND93,800/kg shows a clear recovery trend after a strong adjustment in the middle of the month.
