Assessment and forecast
Coffee futures for March are opening up buying opportunities if prices continue to increase strongly.
Observing the chart of coffee futures contracts in March shows that prices are in an uptrend and in October reached an 8-month high.
In terms of basic factors, coffee prices increased due to reduced supply due to unfavorable weather in major producing countries such as Brazil and Vietnam, along with increased import taxes and improved global demand.
Coffee continues to be a bright spot for Vietnam's agricultural exports in the first 10 months of 2025 when it brought in 7.41 billion USD, an increase of nearly 62% over the same period in 2024, the highest increase in the group of key agricultural products. Coffee export value in the first 10 months of 2025 is also at a record high, exceeding 32% of the whole year of 2024.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the total export turnover of agricultural, forestry and fishery products in October 2025 reached nearly 6 billion USD, bringing the export value for 10 months to 58.13 billion USD, an increase of nearly 13% over the same period last year. This result shows that the agricultural sector continues to maintain its recovery momentum, despite the context of many fluctuations in the global economy and the demand in major markets has not fully recovered.
