Retail gas prices by region
Recorded at 4:00 PM on May 24, the domestic gas market nationwide continued to maintain a stable state as key enterprises have not yet implemented a new price adjustment phase.
In the North, the Hanoi market continues to move sideways for many consecutive sessions. Currently, the price of 12kg domestic gas cylinders is listed at 598.104 VND, while the 48kg industrial cylinder line is maintained at 2,392.416 VND.
Following the trend, the Hai Phong market has also not shown any notable fluctuations. Consumers currently buy 12kg gas cylinders at a price of about 596.160 VND, while 48kg cylinders are sold around the threshold of 2,428.704 VND.
In the Central region, the Da Nang market continues to maintain a stable price level after adjustments at the beginning of the month. The exchange price for 12kg gas cylinders today is maintained at 587,000 VND, while 48kg cylinders continue to linger around the 2,263,000 VND mark.
In the South, the Ho Chi Minh City market still maintains a stable state. Currently, 12kg domestic gas cylinders are sold for about 592,000 VND, while 48kg cylinders are kept at about 2,364,000 VND.
Notably, Can Tho continues to be the locality with the lowest price in the country. The price of 12kg gas cylinders is currently maintained around 550,000 VND, while 48kg cylinders are sold at around 2,200,000 VND.
According to records, the fact that businesses simultaneously maintain the price list is helping the domestic gas market maintain stability, in the context that world energy prices have not shown enough large fluctuations to create pressure on the domestic market.

Retail gas prices by brand
Gas prices today, May 24th, at many major domestic brands continue to remain stable as businesses have not adjusted retail price schedules further.
According to the updated price list, domestic 12kg gas cylinders, 45kg cylinders and 48kg industrial gas cylinders generally remain at the old listed level after the adjustment in early May.
At the Petrolimex system, gas prices today in the Hanoi area continue to be listed at 598.104 VND for 12kg cylinders. For the 48kg industrial cylinder line, the selling price is currently maintained at 2,392.416 VND/cylinder. This continues to be one of the brands with the lowest price level in the survey group.
For SAIGON PETRO, the price of a 12kg gas cylinder is currently at 639,500 VND/cylinder, while a 45kg cylinder is sold at 2,399,000 VND/cylinder. Compared to Petrolimex, the price level of SAIGON PETRO is currently significantly higher in the popular cylinder line.
Meanwhile, Pacific Petro continues to maintain the highest price in the surveyed brand group. Currently, a 12kg gas cylinder is listed at 677,000 VND, while a 45kg cylinder is kept at 2,509,000 VND.
PV GAS alone continues to maintain different price levels between the two major areas. In Hanoi, the current price of a 12kg gas cylinder is 610,600 VND, while a 45kg cylinder is maintained at 2,289,750 VND. Meanwhile, in Ho Chi Minh City, the selling price is 667,081 VND for a 12kg cylinder and 2,501,509 VND for a 45kg cylinder respectively.
According to records, retail gas prices today according to brands continue to be flat on a large scale. The 12kg civil gas cylinder group currently fluctuates from 598,104 - 677,000 VND/cylinder, while the 45kg cylinder line is commonly in the range of 2,289,750 - 2,509,000 VND/cylinder, depending on brand and distribution area.
