In the Northern region, Tuyen Quang and Phu Tho increased the most, by 3,000 VND/kg, bringing the price to 57,000 VND/kg. This is also the price recorded in Bac Ninh and Ninh Binh (both increasing by 1,000 VND/kg), along with Hung Yen (increasing by 2,000 VND/kg).
The rate of 56,000 VND/kg appeared in Cao Bang (up 1,000 VND/kg) and Thai Nguyen (up 2,000 VND/kg). Lang Son, Lao Cai and Quang Ninh are trading around VND55,000/kg, while the remaining provinces maintain VND54,000/kg.
In the Central region, the price of live pigs has been adjusted up slightly by VND 1,000/kg in 6 localities. Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong increased to 55,000 VND/kg. Thanh Hoa and Nghe An reached 56,000 VND/kg, while Ha Tinh recorded 54,000 VND/kg. Other localities kept prices stable.
In the Southern region, the price of live pigs has also increased from 1,000 - 2,000 VND/kg, causing the price level in the whole region to fluctuate between 53,000 - 56,000 VND/kg.
