In the Northern region, live pig prices continue to increase slightly in most localities. The adjustment of 1,000 VND/kg was recorded in the provinces of Cao Bang, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong, Hung Yen (up to the highest level in the country - 55,000 VND/kg). At the same increase, the price of live pigs in the four provinces of Quang Ninh, Hanoi, Lao Cai, and Phu Tho increased to 54,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, Lai Chau and Dien Bien also increased to 53,000 VND/kg. The remaining localities will remain stable.
In the Central region, the price of live pigs has also increased in all localities. Accordingly, traders in this area are purchasing live pigs at prices ranging from 50,000 - 54,000 VND/kg.
Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Lam Dong are the provinces with the highest price of live pigs in the region, reaching 54,000 VND/kg.
In the Southern region, the price of live pigs in Ho Chi Minh City increased sharply by VND 2,000/kg to VND 55,000/kg. After adjustment, the price of live pigs in Dong Nai and Tay Ninh also reached 55,000 VND/kg (up 1,000 VND/kg).
All increased in price, live pigs in Dong Thap and Ca Mau reached 53,000 VND/kg, while An Giang and Vinh Long were at 52,000 VND/kg.
