On the morning of March 1, Mr. Phan Cong Thoan - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ky Ninh Ward - said that these days, local fishermen have been continuously hit by dried fish, mackerel and some other seafood with high economic value, bringing in good income, so fishermen are very excited.
According to many fishermen in Ky Ninh ward, in recent days, thanks to favorable weather, in the sea areas of Ky Anh town and Ky Anh district (Ha Tinh province), streamers of fish and belly fish have appeared in large quantities.
Thanks to that, they catch a large output even though they are only 3-6 nautical miles from shore. Immediately after the boat docked, Ge fish were sold at the wharf at prices ranging from 8,000-10,000 VND/kg, and Du fish from 50,000-60,000 VND/kg.
Local fishermen are excited that this is the most successful sea trip for snakehead fish and belly fish since the beginning of 2025. After deducting expenses, fishing vessels earn tens of millions of VND per day.
