Vietnam's agricultural, forestry and fishery export turnover in October 2025 is estimated at 5.96 billion USD, up 6.3% over October 2024; bringing the total export turnover in the first 10 months of 2025 to 58.13 billion USD, up 12.9% over the same period in 2024.
Of which, the export value of agricultural products reached 31.34 billion USD, up 15.5%; the export value of livestock products reached 512.9 million USD, up 19%; the export value of seafood reached 9.31 billion USD, up 12.9%; the export value of forest products reached 14.93 billion USD, up 5.8%; the export value of input and output reached 2.03 billion USD, up 31.9%; the export value of salt reached 9.5 million USD, up 2 times.
In terms of territory, Asia is the largest export market for Vietnamese enterprises with a market share of 44.7%. The next two major markets are the US and Europe with market share of 22.7% and 13.8%, respectively. China is still the largest market with a market share of 21.4%, the US with a market share of 20.4%, and Japan with a market share of 7%, the 3 largest export markets for NLTS products in Vietnam.
The volume of rice exports in October 2025 is estimated at 421.1 thousand tons with a value of 216.9 million USD, bringing the total volume and value of rice exports in the first 10 months of 2025 to 7.2 million tons and 3.7 billion USD, down 6.5% in volume and 23.8% in value compared to the same period in 2024.

In particular, the average export rice price in the first 10 months of 2025 is estimated at 511 USD/ton, down 18.5% over the same period in 2024. The Philippines is the largest rice consumer market in Vietnam with a market share of 41.4%. Myanmar and the Ivorian Sea are the next two major markets with market share of 12.3% and 11.3%, respectively.
Compared to the same period last year, the value of rice exports in the first 9 months of 2025 to the Philippine market decreased by 27.1%, while the Ghana market increased by 47.3%, the Ivory Coast market increased by 94.5%. In the group of 15 largest exporting markets, the rice export value increased the most in the Bangladesh market with an increase of 155 times and decreased the most in the Malayxia market with a decrease of 53.3%.
Export value of vegetables and fruits in October. 2025 is estimated to reach 961 million USD, bringing the total export value of vegetables and fruits in the first 10 months of 2025 to 7.09 billion USD, an increase of 15.1% over the same period in 2024. Vietnam's fruits and vegetables are mainly exported to the Chinese market with an export value of 62.9%. The next two major fruit and vegetable export markets are the United States and South Korea with export value ratios of 6.6% and 3.9% respectively
