Engineer Brigade 28, Air Defense - Air Force Service receives the First-class Fatherland Protection Medal
On the morning of May 19, Engineer Brigade 28, Air Defense - Air Force Service held a ceremony to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Traditional Day (May 19, 1966 - May 19, 2026) and receive the First-class Fatherland Protection Medal.
With outstanding feats of arms and achievements, on December 12, 2000, the Brigade was honored to be awarded the noble title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces in the renovation period by the Party and State; in 2006 and 2011, the Brigade was honored to be awarded the Third-class Fatherland Protection Order by the President, and in 2016 was awarded the Second-class Fatherland Protection Order along with many other noble awards.
On this occasion, authorized by the President, Lieutenant General Tran Ngoc Quyen - Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Air Defense - Air Force Service awarded the First-class Fatherland Protection Medal to the 28th Engineer Brigade.
