11 military colonels retire pending retirement, retire early

11 military colonels include Commanders, Political Commissars, Deputy Commanders... who retired early.

On February 18, the Government's Electronic Information Portal reported that Military Region 1 has just held a conference to hand over decisions on leave, retirement, transfer, and appointment to cadres of agencies and units under the Military Region.

Pursuant to the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army, 9 officers who are awarded a decision to retire from work by the Ministry of National Defense from March 1, 2025, and until they reach the retirement age according to military rank, will retire, including:

- Colonel Nghiem Dinh Trung, Commander of the Military Command of Bac Ninh province;

- Colonel Le Van Ben, Political Commissar of Lang Son Provincial Military Command;

- Colonel Vu Duc Hien, Political Commissar of the Military Command of Bac Giang province;

- Colonel Do Xuan Vien, Deputy Commander of the Military Command of Bac Ninh province;

- Colonel Truong Cong Minh, Deputy Commander of the Lang Son Provincial Military Command;

- Colonel Luong Van Dung, Deputy Political Commissar of the Military Command of Bac Giang province;

- Colonel Dang Xuan Hung, Political Commissar of the National Shooting Range Area 1;

- Colonel Tran Van Hieu, Brigade Commander of Brigade 382;

- Colonel Dang Dinh Bon, Vice Principal of Military School of Military Region 1.

2 military officers are allowed to retire early and enjoy the regime according to Decree No. 177/2024/ND-CP dated December 31, 2024 of the Government:

- Colonel Nguyen Dinh Huynh, Commander of the Military Command of Bac Kan province;

- Colonel La Van Hao, Political Commissar of the Military Command of Bac Kan province.
