111 cadres in Lao Cai apply for early retirement

Lao Cai - Hundreds of cadres have applied for early retirement to facilitate the implementation of organizational restructuring.

On the evening of March 17, information from the People's Committee of Lao Cai province, according to statistics, the whole province currently has 111 cadres applying for early retirement.

Of which, 18 cases proposed to retire according to Decree 177; 93 cases proposed to retire according to Decree 178.

Currently, the competent authorities of the province have approved 71 retirement cases. Of which, the Party bloc has 38 (20 people under the management of the province), the State bloc has 33 people.

Lao Cai province is continuing to compile cases of early retirement. After having specific instructions from relevant departments, ministries and branches, it will be reviewed, commented on and reported to competent authorities according to regulations.

Specialized agencies develop criteria for evaluating cadres, civil servants, and public employees in the 2025 organizational arrangement to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for promulgation according to regulations.

In particular, orient and suggest a framework of evaluation criteria for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the arrangement of the apparatus, contributing to streamlining the payroll, restructuring, and improving the quality of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers.

In particular, 4 cadres who are directors of departments and branches of Lao Cai province have applied for early retirement, including: Director of the Department of Finance, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Director of the Department of Tourism and Director of the Department of Science and Technology.

In addition, there were 2 deputy directors of the department who submitted applications for early retirement, 1 officer was Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology and 1 Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

It is known that the Department of Home Affairs of Lao Cai province is reviewing and synthesizing the number of cadres applying for early retirement from localities to have a plan to report on the arrangement and arrangement in the coming time.

Implementing the direction of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Home Affairs coordinated with the Department of Finance to study and guide the implementation of policies for cadres wishing to retire early according to Government Decrees.
