On the afternoon of January 6, the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision of the Secretariat on appointing Mr. Vu Hoang Anh to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030.
The conference was attended by Mr. Nguyen Quang Duong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee; Mr. Doan Minh Huan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, and leaders of the Academy.
On the local side, there were Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Quoc Khanh; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Doan Thi Hau; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Canh Toan; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Doan Thu Ha, along with members of the Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee and leaders of some departments and branches.
According to Decision No. 2638 dated December 30, 2025 of the Secretariat, Mr. Vu Hoang Anh resigned from the position of Assistant Member of the Politburo, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council; was transferred and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee.
Handing over the decision and delivering the task assignment speech, Mr. Nguyen Quang Duong said that Lang Son is an area with a particularly important geopolitical position, playing the role of "barrier" of the Fatherland.
The addition of key personnel aims to strengthen leadership capacity, meeting development requirements in the new period.
He believes that with work experience and professional capacity, the new Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee will soon grasp the work and work with the provincial leadership to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
Speaking to receive the assignment, Mr. Vu Hoang Anh thanked the Secretariat for trusting and assigning him to work in Lang Son, a locality with an important position in economy, national defense, security and foreign affairs.
He affirmed that he will quickly approach tasks, promote the spirit of responsibility, and together with the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, firmly aim for development, take the border gate economy as a driving force, digital transformation as a breakthrough, maintain national border sovereignty, contributing to building Lang Son to develop sustainably in the new period.
