On August 6, at the headquarters of the Government Inspectorate, Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong chaired a meeting of the department-level board.
The report at the conference showed that, regarding inspection work, the Government Inspectorate simultaneously conducted inspections on 2 topics according to the direction of the Central Steering Committee and the Prime Minister.
Accordingly, a total of 42 inspections were conducted; 2 inspection conclusions were issued; 2 inspections were reported to the Prime Minister; 27 direct inspections are being conducted.
Regarding the work of appraisal, urging, and handling after inspection, the activities of 27 inspection teams are being monitored; 3 draft inspection conclusions are being appraised; 4 inspection teams are being terminated.
Regarding citizen reception, in July, the Central Citizen reception Headquarters in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City received 458 visits with 1,232 citizens presenting 454 cases.
Regarding the key tasks in August, the Government Inspectorate directed relevant units to prepare well for the work of serving the Government Inspectorate Party Congress; implementing the Conclusion of General Secretary To Lam on resolving complaints and denunciations that have been prolonged and exceeded to the Central level, the Government Inspectorate directed local departments to continue urging localities to handle and resolve the remaining cases according to the plan; report to competent authorities on cases with difficulties and problems; synthesize and update the situation and results to serve the report to the Central Inspection Committee as required...
Speaking at the conference, Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong directed a high focus on the inspection of the two topics, and Deputy Inspector General directed the urgent preparation of the conclusion report.
The Director and Head of the delegation need to closely follow the progress, do it as accurately as possible, but at the same time, draft the inspection conclusion right during the direct inspection process, paying attention to directing members of the Inspection Team to strictly implement the regulations on inspection.
Third, effectively carry out the work of receiving citizens at the headquarters of the Central Citizen Reception Committee, coordinate with localities to announce cases that have been fully resolved, and have full authority to the media and the public. The local departments continue to urge localities to resolve the remaining 16 cases out of a total of 226 cases.
