Uncle Ho - Great Journalist
This afternoon (May 30), a National Scientific Conference was held in Hanoi "100 years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press accompanying the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation".
The workshop received much attention from experts, scientists, and researchers in journalism.
Speaking at the Workshop, Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Dinh Phong - Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics - presented the speech "Ho Chi Minh - Great Journalist".
Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Dinh Phong affirmed that up to now, President Ho Chi Minh's journalism career has remained valuable to the nation and the times. President Ho Chi Minh's articles are still valuable, a beacon for innovation, towards the future, lasting with the nation and humanity.

According to Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Dinh Phong, Ho Chi Minh's press heritage carries the breath of the times, contains new vitality, reflects the spirit of the times, has high theoretical and practical value, including many articles on politics, culture, people, ethics, Party building, development aspirations, etc.
Co-ledging the workshop, Prof. Dr. Ta Ngoc Tan - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council - discussed the topic "100 years of revolutionary journalism - Sharp weapons in fighting and building under the leadership of the Party".
According to Prof. Dr. Ta Ngoc Tan, the number 1 of Thanh Nien Newspaper pointed out: "To lead the people to create great careers, there needs to be leadership. That leadership power does not belong to just a few people but is born from the unity of thousands, tens of thousands of people... To have thousands, tens of thousands of people, united closely together, they must have the same will, they must pursue the same goal, only then can there be solidarity".
It can be considered as the principle, the purpose of the press activities or the birth of Thanh Nien newspaper on June 21, 1925 is the purpose of organizing and uniting people, building forces to implement a great revolutionary struggle, national liberation, building and developing the country under the socialist path under the leadership of the Communist Party.
"Over the past 100 years, the revolutionary press in Vietnam has been loyal to the principle of the purpose set out from the beginning, becoming a sharp weapon, accompanied by the nation, from the arduous struggle, sacrificing, overthrowing the dominance of the French colonialists, chasing the powerful invaders for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland as well as in the construction and development of the country, the happiness of the people.
A big mark in the revolutionary process
In the presentation, Prof. Dr. Ta Ngoc Tan emphasized 3 contents. Firstly, leader Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh is a very profound awareness of the extremely important role, the sharp weapon of the revolution and thus, he is the pioneer journalist, No. 1 of the revolutionary press in Vietnam. The opening of the Vietnamese revolutionary press, who is also a lifelong journalist who is attached to writing. With the awareness and extremely important role of revolutionary press, Uncle Ho is a pioneer, exemplary, leading the journalist.

Second, revolutionary journalism is a sharp weapon in the struggle for national liberation. In every revolutionary stage, the press has always paid attention to building and developing as a weapon of struggle. During the process of national liberation struggle, many revolutionary soldiers and revolutionary leaders participated in journalism and there were very good journalism writers such as comrades Nguyen Van Cu, Ha Huy Tap, Truong Chinh, Vo Nguyen Giap, Hoang Quoc Viet, Huynh Tan Phat, Khuat Duy Tien...
Thirdly, in the construction and defense of the Fatherland, the press is a bridge between the Party, the State and the people, the leadership tool, organizing the implementation of the country's development goals, the weapon of anti -corruption, wastefulness and negative weapons, is a weapon of political struggle, ideology, protecting the Party, protecting the country, protecting the people, protecting the regime.
"In any field or strategic mission, the press has made huge contributions that have left unforgettable impressions in the history of the past 100 years" - Prof. Dr. Ta Ngoc Tan stated.
