This morning (October 1), the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc, Nhan Dan Newspaper, Communist Magazine, Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam and Vietnam News Agency held the Closing and Awarding Ceremony of the "Political Contest on Protecting the Party's Ideological Foundation in 2024 in the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc".
Speaking at the award ceremony, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of Central Propaganda Nguyen Trong Nghia - emphasized that through the Contest, it helps Party committees at all levels, Party organizations, cadres, Party members, union members, association members and the masses to raise awareness and responsibility for the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile views.
Regarding the tasks in the coming time, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized the requirement that the Party Committee of the Central Agencies and its affiliated Party Committees continue to study and thoroughly raise the awareness of Party committees and Party organizations about the responsibility of leadership, direction, exemplary spirit, and self-awareness of cadres and Party members, especially leaders, in deploying and implementing Resolution 35-NQ/TW of the 12th Politburo and Conclusion No. 89-KL/TW of the 13th Politburo on continuing to implement Resolution No. 35-NQ/TW, dated October 22, 2018 of the 12th Politburo on "Strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the new situation"...
Reporting the results of the contest at the Award Ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quang Truong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Central Agencies and Head of the Contest Organization said: The scale of the contest in 2024 is larger than the previous two years with 5 categories: magazine, newspaper, television, radio and video clip.
The entries are of good quality, rich and diverse in many fields. Some entries were published in newspapers and magazines and broadcast promptly after being submitted to the contest, contributing to the effective dissemination of the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile views.
At the award ceremony, the work: "Fighting against plots to downgrade the role of the working class and Vietnamese trade unions (3 parts)" by the group of authors Tran Van Vuong and Bui Viet Lam - Lao Dong Newspaper, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - won second prize.
