Quang Tri - The Director of the Digital Transformation Center was proposed to stop his appointment due to violating the time limit.

On March 6, Mr. Tran Ngoc Lan - Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Quang Tri confirmed that he had signed a document requesting the provincial leaders to stop appointing the position of Director of the Digital Transformation Center under this Department due to violating regulations on office hours.

According to the document signed by Mr. Lan, on the same morning, the Department's leaders, including the Director, two Deputy Directors and the Chairman of the Trade Union, visited the Digital Transformation Center to celebrate the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day.

Faced with the above situation, Mr. Tran Ngoc Lan severely criticized the leadership of the Digital Transformation Center, and at the same time requested to rectify discipline and administrative discipline. The Department's leaders emphasized that all officials and employees of the Center must strictly comply with the regulations on administrative working hours issued by the People's Committee of Quang Tri province.

In addition, the Board of Directors of the Department of Science and Technology also sent a document to Mr. Ha Sy Dong - Acting Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province, proposing to stop appointing the position of Director of the Digital Transformation Center.

The Department of Science and Technology of Quang Tri has just been merged from two Departments: Science - Technology and Information - Communications. The Digital Transformation Center has also just moved to the Department after the merger, currently with a total of 15 officers and employees.

Mr. Lan affirmed that he and the Board of Directors were at the Center until 7:45, giving congratulatory flowers to the only female employee present. However, until leaving, no more officers or employees were present at the headquarters.
