On January 17, authorized by the Minister of Public Security, Lieutenant General Nguyen Hai Trung - Director of Hanoi City Police Department chaired the ceremony to announce and present the decision of the Minister of Public Security on personnel work.
Colonel Nguyen Tien Dat - Chief of Staff and Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Quyen, Chief of Ha Dong District Police, were appointed to hold the position of Deputy Director of Hanoi City Police.
Presiding over the ceremony, Lieutenant General Nguyen Hai Trung congratulated the two new Deputy Directors and stated that both comrades are cadres with strong political will, good moral qualities, high qualifications, and in-depth expertise; have been tested and trained through many units, fields, and positions, and have excellently completed their tasks in any position.
The head of Hanoi City Police requested that in their new positions, Colonel Nguyen Tien Dat and Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Quyen must promote the highest sense of responsibility and work experience, always unite, and perform well the functions of advising and managing the State on protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety, and fighting against crimes and violations of laws on national security, social order and safety in the capital.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Quyen affirmed that he will continue to study and research; strive to improve himself, maintain his political will, revolutionary ethics and spirit of serving the people.
Colonel Nguyen Tien Dat promised to continue promoting solidarity, unity, sense of responsibility and discipline in the Standing Committee, Board of Directors and units in the City Police; preserving, inheriting and promoting the traditions of the Vietnam People's Police force and the Capital Police that generations of leaders, officers and soldiers have worked hard to build and cultivate.
