On the afternoon of November 29, the Hai Phong City Party Committee - People's Committee held a conference to announce the Decisions of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on personnel work for Party agencies and the Decisions of the Chairman of the City People's Committee on personnel work, departments, branches, sectors, and public service units under the City People's Committee.
The conference was attended by Mr. Le Tien Chau, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Phong City; Mr. Le Ngoc Chau, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee; Mr. Le Van Hieu, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council; Mr. Pham Van Lap, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, members of the City Party Committee and leaders of relevant departments, branches, units and localities.
Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Hai Phong City Party Committee assigned, transferred and appointed Mr. Bui Hung Thien, member of the City Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment to hold the position of Chief of the City Party Committee Office.
Mr. Dang Xuan Thuong, member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Gia Loc Commune, ceased to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Party Committee and ceased to hold the position of Secretary of the Gia Loc Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term; assigned, transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee.
Assigned and transferred Mr. Nguyen Cao Lan, member of the City Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee to work at the City People's Council to introduce his nomination for the position of Head of the Cultural - Social Committee, City People's Council, term 2021-2026.
Assigned, transferred and appointed Ms. Tran Thi Hoang Mai, member of the City Party Committee, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the City Party Committee.
Transfer and appoint Ms. Dong Thi Van, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction to the position of Deputy Chief of the City Party Committee Office.
Decisions on personnel work of agencies and units, effective from December 1, 2025.
The conference also announced the Decisions of the Chairman of the City People's Committee on the resignation of Mr. Vu Tien Phung, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee; and the resignation of Mr. Le Trung Kien, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee.
At the same time, the Decisions are announced effective from December 1, 2025, accordingly: Transferring and appointing Mr. Pham Van Thep, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Director of the Department of Science and Technology to hold the position of Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board.
Receiving and appointing Ms. Sai Thi Yen, member of the City Party Committee, Deputy Chief of the Office in charge of the City Party Committee Office to hold the position of Director of the Department of Home Affairs.
Transfer and appoint Mr. Tran Viet Tuan, member of the City Party Committee, Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs to the position of Chief Inspector of the city.
Receiving and appointing Ms. Tran Thi Quynh Trang, member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairwoman of the An Duong Ward People's Council to hold the position of Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs.

Receive, transfer and appoint Mr. Trinh Nam Hung, Director of the Tay Hai Phong Construction Investment Project Management Board to hold the position of Deputy Chief of the Office of the City People's Committee.
Assign Mr. Le Anh Tuan, Deputy Director of the Tay Hai Phong Construction Investment Project Management Board to be in charge of and manage the work of the Tay Hai Phong Construction Investment Project Management Board until the position of Director of the Tay Hai Phong Construction Investment Project Management Board is completed.
