Accordingly, in Decision No. 654/QD-TTg, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh reappointed Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan to hold the position of Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army until the end of his active service age.
Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan was born in 1966, from Phu Tho. In 2019, while serving as Commander of Military Region 2, he was appointed by the Prime Minister to hold the position of Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.
In Decision No. 653/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister decided to extend the term of holding the position of Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army for Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Binh until the end of his active service age.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Binh, born in 1965, hometown in Hanoi; Bachelor of Military Science, member of the 14th National Assembly. He used to be Head of Operations, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Navy, Commander of Naval Region 1 Command.
In Decision No. 652/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister extended the term of holding the position of Political Commissar of Military Region 5 for Lieutenant General Trinh Dinh Thach until the end of his active service age.
Lieutenant General Trinh Dinh Thach , born in 1965; Hometown: Tinh Bac commune, Son Tinh district, Quang Ngai. Major General Trinh Dinh Thach previously held the following positions: Commander of the Military Command of Quang Ngai Province, Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 5.
In 2015, Mr. Thach was appointed to the position of Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 5 and promoted to the rank of Major General. In 2019, he was promoted to Lieutenant General.
In Decision No. 651/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister agreed to extend the term of Deputy Commander of the Border Guard for Major General Le Van Phuc until the end of his active service age.
