Appointment of Deputy Prime Minister's Assistant and personnel of the Ministry of National Defense

    The Prime Minister has issued decisions to appoint Deputy Prime Minister's Assistant and reappoint personnel of the Ministry of National Defense.

    On April 26, the Government Office announced that the Prime Minister had decided to appoint the Deputy Prime Minister's Assistant.

    In Decision No. 838/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister transferred and appointed Mr. Le Manh Hung - Director of the Foreign Investment Agency (Ministry of Finance) - to hold the position of Assistant to the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung.

    The term of appointment is 5 years. This decision takes effect from April 25, 2025.

    In Decision No. 762/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister reappointed Lieutenant General Bui Quoc Oai to hold the position of Political Commissar of the Vietnam Coast Guard. This decision takes effect from June 1, 2025.
