The Ministry of Home Affairs has a new spokesperson

Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Ha will perform her duties as Spokesperson of the Ministry of Home Affairs from March 1, 2025.

Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra has signed and issued Decision No. 001/QD-BNV on the assignment of work to Ministers and Deputy Ministers of Home Affairs.

According to the above decision, the task of Party Secretary and Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra is to comprehensively lead and manage all activities under the functions, tasks and powers of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The Minister directly directs the units: Department of Organization and Personnel, Central Emulation and Reward Committee.

Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra directly directs and directs the following areas of work: Organization, cadres; Emulation and reward.

Decision No. 001/QD-BNV also specifically assigns the working tasks of 7 Deputy Ministers.

In which, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Ha is responsible for monitoring and directing the following units: Department of Youth and Gender Equality; State Organization and Labor Magazine; Dan Tri Newspaper.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Ha performs the duties of spokesperson of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Ha assists the Minister in charge of the following areas of work: State management of youth, gender equality; mass mobilization, implementation of democracy in communes, wards, towns, state agencies, public service units; journalism; tasks of the Office of the National Committee for the advancement of Vietnamese women; implementation of the National Target Program on New Rural Development for the period 2021-2025.

Before merging the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha was in charge of units under the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, including: Department of Children (including public service units under the Department); Vietnam Children's Support Fund; Department of Gender Equality;

Dan Tri Newspaper; Labor and Social Magazine; Center for Training and fostering cadres and civil servants in labor - society; Thuy An Center for rehabilitation of people with disabilities; Center for rehabilitation and support for disabled children.

During the merger of the two ministries, hundreds of cadres and civil servants voluntarily retired early and quit their jobs.

Many cadres, civil servants and public employees who have applied for early retirement are holding the positions of heads and deputy heads of units under and directly under the Ministry of Home Affairs such as: Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel, Director of the Department of Youth Work, Director of the Department of International Cooperation, Acting Director of the Department of Salary, Deputy Director of the Department of Administrative Reform...

In which, the first person to voluntarily apply for early retirement is Mr. Vu Dang Minh - Chief of Office and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
