According to Lao Dong's investigation on November 9, Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra issued Decision No. 785/QD-BNV dated November 6, 2024 on the announcement of administrative procedures.
Decision No. 785 promulgates 3 administrative procedures under the state management scope of the Ministry of Home Affairs, and at the same time abolishes administrative procedures that have been promulgated in Decision No. 1065/QD-BNV dated December 10, 2020.

Civil service exam procedures
The implementation process consists of 6 steps and 1 set of documents.
Candidates submit the Application Form at the Application Form receiving location or directly, via email, via the electronic portal or by other appropriate electronic means according to the Recruitment Notice of the competent recruiting authority.
The processing time is a maximum of 190 working days from the deadline for receiving application forms (according to the Decree).
For less than 100 candidates, the fee is 500,000 VND/candidate/exam; For 100 to less than 500 candidates, the fee is 400,000 VND/candidate/exam; For 500 candidates or more, the fee is 300,000 VND/candidate/exam.
Civil servant recruitment procedures
The implementation process consists of 5 steps and 1 set of documents.
Candidates submit the Application Form at the Application Form receiving location or directly, via email, via the electronic portal or by other appropriate electronic means according to the Recruitment Notice of the competent recruiting authority.
The processing time is a maximum of 85 working days from the deadline for receiving application forms (according to the Decree).
For less than 100 candidates, the fee is 500,000 VND/candidate/examination; For 100 to less than 500 candidates, the fee is 400,000 VND/candidate/examination; For 500 candidates or more, the fee is 300,000 VND/candidate/examination.
Procedures for admission to civil servants not holding leadership or management positions
The procedure consists of 4 steps and 1 set of documents.
