Speaking at the conference, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Tam, in charge of the Head of Logistics and Engineering of Military Region 7, emphasized that this is an honor and at the same time a great responsibility for the staff, soldiers and employees of the Logistics and Engineering Department before the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defence, and the Standing Committee of the Party Committee - Military Region Command.
Speaking at the assignment, Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Commander of Military Region 7 - emphasized that this is a major policy of the Party, State, Central Military Commission, Ministry of National Defence, and a very important event marking the development and maturity of the Logistics - Engineering sector at all levels.
Merge and reorganize the Logistics Department and the Technical Department into the Logistics - Technical Department to meet the requirements of being lean, compact, strong, and moving straight towards modernity.
The Commander of Military Region 7 requested that in the coming time, the Party Committee and commanders of the Logistics and Technical Department must correctly and fully perceive the position and significance of the merger.
The Commander of Military Region 7 also requested to direct the implementation of ideological work well, grasp the thoughts, aspirations, and public opinions before, during, and after the reorganization process; continue to closely follow reality, regularly pay attention to and encourage cadres, employees, and soldiers at all levels to compete to successfully complete their assigned tasks in their positions and responsibilities.
