On the afternoon of March 19, General Luong Tam Quang - Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security - visited and worked at Thai Binh Provincial Police.
At the meeting, the leaders of Thai Binh Provincial Police reported to General Luong Tam Quang and the working delegation on the security and order situation in the province in the first months of 2025.
Accordingly, in the first 3 months of 2025, political security and social order and safety will continue to be maintained. Violations of social order have decreased significantly; traffic safety and order continue to be guaranteed, traffic accidents have decreased significantly in all three criteria.
The Provincial Police have proactively implemented the policy of not organizing district-level police, arranging the apparatus in the direction of "comprehensive province, strong commune, stick to the grassroots"; urgently operating the new apparatus to operate stably, creating clear changes.
Focus on implementing well the policies and directions of the Central and the province in all aspects of work, contributing to serving the socio-economic development tasks, especially the province's double-digit economic growth target.
Next, Thai Binh Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Khac Than also reported to the Minister of Public Security some outstanding features in the socio-economic development of Thai Binh province; at the same time, he affirmed that the province has achieved the above results with a very important contribution of the Provincial Police force in maintaining political security and social order and safety.
Mr. Nguyen Khac Than emphasized: In 2025, the province sets many important goals and tasks, especially in economic development, striving for double-digit growth; continue to organize the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus in accordance with the direction of the Central Government.
Mr. Than hopes that the Ministry of Public Security will continue to pay attention and support Thai Binh province as well as the provincial police force to perform well the tasks, contributing to the province's successful completion of the set goals.
Speaking at the working session, General Luong Tam Quang - Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security - thanked the leaders of Thai Binh province for creating conditions for the provincial public security force to deploy and perform well the tasks assigned to the area in the past time; at the same time, he also acknowledged and commended the achievements and feats that the Thai Binh Provincial Public Security force has achieved in all aspects of work.
Regarding the tasks in the coming time, Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang emphasized: The highest goal of the Public Security force at this stage is to ensure absolute security and safety in the process of rearranging and reorganizing commune-level administrative units and building a two-level local government model.
The Minister of Public Security suggested that Thai Binh Provincial Police actively implement new assignments and decentralizations of the Ministry in all fields of work when not organizing district-level police, and have solutions to remove obstacles and difficulties.
Proactively grasp the situation related to the arrangement of the apparatus and organization of party congresses at all levels, promptly advise and handle arising situations. Research and arrange forces to increase facilities, ensuring early resolution of all potential security and order issues at the facility.
