On April 15, in Hanoi, General Luong Tam Quang - Member of the Politburo, Minister of Public Security - chaired a meeting with MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation (MobiFone) on the results of receiving and implementing MobiFone's activities.
According to the Ministry of Public Security Portal, over the past time, after returning to the Ministry of Public Security, MobiFone has submitted to the Ministry promulgating the Regulation on organization and operation; There is a dossier to submit to the Prime Minister for approval of MobiFone for being a direct enterprise for national defense and security.
MobiFone is coordinating with units to revise the financial management regulations; At the same time, develop a plan to review the entire internal process and regulations in MobiFone to ensure compliance with the new charter, new financial regulations and operating mechanisms of enterprises directly serving national defense and security.
Regarding the development strategy, implementing the direction of the Ministry leaders, MobiFone has had a plan to develop a strategy for development of the period of 2025-2030 and a vision to 2045, ensuring comprehensive, accurate assessment of capacity, opportunities, challenges and strategic shaping, MobiFone's orientations in the new period.
Regarding the organization of personnel, on the basis of the direction of the Ministry's leaders, MobiFone is developing an organizational restructuring scheme in the direction of abandoning intermediaries, forming business units according to the province; Building a specific mechanism to attract talents and excellent experts in all fields of MobiFone to work to effectively meet the tasks in the near future.
Speaking at the meeting, Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang said that the transfer of MobiFone to the Ministry of Public Security is to affirm the special attention and care of the Party and the State to develop MobiFone.
This is aimed at contributing to the development of the security industry, promoting the development of science and technology, converting the number of police branches in accordance with the spirit of Resolution 57 of the Politburo on science and technology breakthrough, innovation and transformation of national numbers.
In order to perform that task, the Minister suggested that MobiFone must focus on researching the strengths to produce telecommunications and technology products to effectively serve the development of businesses and national interests.
Minister Luong Tam Quang emphasized that MobiFone must pay attention to building a legal corridor to ensure the operation of MobiFone in order to create favorable conditions and remove barriers and problems for MobiFone to have strong development conditions, especially when MobiFone becomes security enterprises.
In addition, the Minister of Public Security also suggested that MobiFone should continue to stabilize the organization and encourage the contingent of good cadres and experts to be assured of their work, promote the youth and creativity in MobiFone's human resources to consistently develop the goal of developing and successfully implementing that goal, making an important contribution to the development of the security industry in the coming time.
