On the afternoon of July 20, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day, General Luong Tam Quang - Politburo member, Minister of Public Security visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Nhon in An Tuong ward, Tuyen Quang province.
The family of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Nhon has an only child who died during the resistance war against the US to save the country. Minister Luong Tam Quang and the leaders of Tuyen Quang province kindly visited him, encouraged him and expressed their deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of the Mother and her family for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
Minister Luong Tam Quang emphasized that the Party, State and People's Public Security forces always remember the contributions of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers - a noble symbol of revolutionary heroism; at the same time, affirmed that caring for and serving mothers is a responsibility, a sacred sentiment that today's generation has for those who have devoted their lives to the country.
