General Luong Tam Quang was born on October 17, 1965; his hometown is Hiep Cuong commune, Kim Dong district, Hung Yen province; he is a member of the 13th Party Central Committee and a member of the 13th Politburo.
He has a high level of political theory; professional qualifications: Bachelor of Criminal Investigation.
During his career, before 2012, he was Assistant Deputy Minister of Public Security.
