On the afternoon of November 12, the question and answer session ended after 2 days of working on 3 groups of issues under the main responsibility of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, the Minister of Health, and the Minister of Information and Communications.
After the question and answer session, National Assembly deputies highly appreciated the frank and responsible responses of the three ministers and industry leaders when answering questions before the National Assembly.
Delegate Hoang Van Cuong (Hanoi Delegation) shared that the answer of Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung was quite confident, calm, certain, concise, and clarified the root of the problem. The solutions proposed by the Minister were quite clear and complete.
This delegate said that the field of information technology is quite broad, closely related to people's lives and has an impact on social life.
The issues raised by delegates related to the field of information and communication technology include many contents that cannot be solved by the Ministry of Information and Communications alone, but require the participation of related sectors.
"It takes time to change awareness and change right from the service users themselves, who are responsible for the information system on social networks today" - delegate Hoang Van Cuong said and informed that, to solve the problem, both people and managers must get involved to solve the pressing problems at the root.
Delegate Ly Anh Thu (Kien Giang Delegation) said that information on social networks today has two sides. The positive side is that there is more information for the people, but along with that is bad, toxic, and untrue information. The Ministry of Information and Communications has taken partial responsibility, but the rest is the responsibility of society and the entire political system.
Minister Nguyen Manh Hung has proposed specific solutions. Although there have been measures, stronger sanctions and different approaches are needed to deter the spread of false information on social networks.
"Propaganda work is important, we must find ways to make people understand the issue clearly, trust and implement it" - delegate Ly Anh Thu added.
Regarding the question and answer session of State Bank Governor Nguyen Thi Hong, delegate Tran Hoang Ngan (HCMC delegation) said that the industry leader had proposed very correct solutions and hit the issues that society is particularly concerned about. The Governor also proposed solutions and commitments on how to implement them more effectively in the coming time.
Delegate Hoang Thi Thanh Thuy (Tay Ninh delegation) assessed that almost 1/3 of the opinions questioning Governor Nguyen Thi Hong were related to the gold market.
However, Governor Nguyen Thi Hong's response did not go into general policies but clarified issues that the press and voters raised but had not been clarified in the past.
There were many questions of “Why”, “Why” from voters and delegates, but the Governor answered directly to the point. Even those who are not knowledgeable about banking and economics can understand more clearly about the operation of the gold market. That also proves that the Governor’s answer is very clear.
Sharing the same view, delegate Tran Hong Nguyen (Binh Thuan delegation) assessed that the response of State Bank Governor Nguyen Thi Hong showed frankness and basis.
