On the morning of January 22, in Hanoi, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) held a ceremony to award the 40-year Party membership badge to Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung. Mr. Nguyen Duc Minh - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Organization Committee of the Party Committee of Central Agencies directly announced the decision.
At the ceremony, Mr. Lai Xuan Lam - Permanent Deputy Secretary on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Central Agencies sent congratulations to Minister Nguyen Manh Hung.
Happy and excited when awarding the 40-year Party membership badge to the Minister, Mr. Lai Xuan Lam emphasized that Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung joined the Party very early, so while still working, he was awarded the 40-year Party membership badge.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Central Agencies commented: "This noble award is the Party's recognition of Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung's persistent efforts over the past 40 years, and is also an example for us to learn from."
Sharing the honor and pride of receiving the 40-year Party membership badge, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung said that this is not only a recognition of his personal efforts and contributions over the past time, but also a motivation for him to continue to train, strive and contribute more to the Party and the People.
With sincere thanks to the units he has worked for, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung said that this is a common honor of the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Information and Communications industry, Viettel where he grew up and is also an honor of the army where the Minister was raised and trained.
“This honor is for all the units, teammates, brothers, and comrades who have worked with me in many different units and positions. I sincerely thank the leaders and all levels at which I have worked,” the Minister emotionally shared.
According to the Minister, all the places he has worked are a part of his life. All the people he has met, worked with, and the superiors who have trusted, supported, and promoted him have all contributed to making Minister Nguyen Manh Hung who he is today.
Looking back on the past, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung is extremely proud of having always been steadfast in the Party's ideals and always strived to fulfill all assigned tasks. However, he is also fully aware of his responsibility when being awarded the 40-year Party membership badge.
Instructing the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Minister noted that Party committees at all levels must crystallize the intelligence of their organization into policies, resolutions, and then methods of action, so that everyone can see their part in the Party.

Minister Nguyen Manh Hung, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Information and Communications, was born on July 24, 1962, in Tan Hong Commune, Tu Son District, Bac Ninh Province. He was admitted to the Party in 1984, at the age of 22, while studying at the Ulyanov Information School (former Soviet Union). Enlisted in 1979, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung has been a Party member for 40 years, worked in the army for 39 years, and held the position of head of the Information and Communications sector for nearly 7 years.
