Cam Pha City currently has 15 communal administrative units, expected to have 5 communal administrative units. The working office of Cam Pha ward is located at the office of the City Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Cam Pha City.
According to the project of arranging administrative units at the commune level of Dong Trieu city, 19 communes and wards will now be arranged into 5 new communal administrative units. In particular, merging 5 communes and wards, including: Thuy An, Nguyen Hue, Hung Dao, Duc Chinh and Hong Phong into Dong Trieu ward. The headquarters of Dong Trieu ward is located at the headquarters at the headquarters of the City Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Dong Trieu City today.
Dong Trieu City will organize consultation with voters, through the People's Council of the commune and city People's Council before April 21, 2025; Completing the Project on quality assurance, progress and submission to competent authorities before April 22, 2025.
Uong Bi city currently has 10 plans of administrative units and is expected to decrease to 3 new administrative units, including: Uong Bi Ward, Yen Tu Ward, Vang Danh Ward. In particular, Uong Bi ward was established on the basis of merging Quang Trung, Thanh Son, Yen Thanh and Cong 1, 2 and 3 temples of Trung Vuong ward; The headquarters are located at the headquarters of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of Uong Bi City.
Under the project, 19 communal administrative units of Quang Yen town will be arranged into 6 communal administrative units. In particular, merging the current status of the area and population of Quang Yen, Yen Giang and Tien An commune into a new administrative unit is expected to be Quang Yen ward. The working office of Quang Yen ward is expected to be: the Party and mass organizations working at the current headquarters of Quang Yen Party Committee; The government block is located at the headquarters of the People's Council and the current Town People's Committee.

Previously, on April 15, 2025, Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee issued Conclusion No. 1207-KL/TU on the plan of arranging administrative units at the commune level of Quang Ninh province.
Accordingly, at the 68th Executive Committee of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, term XV, term 2020-2025, basically the agreement of the plan to arrange the administrative units at the commune level in Quang Ninh province is 51 units, including: 27 wards, 21 communes and 3 special zones (Van Don, Co To, Mong Cai).
In case the Central Government approves 2 special zones (Van Don, Co To), arranging administrative units at the commune level in the whole province into 54 units, including: 30 wards, 22 communes and 2 special zones.
Regarding the name of the new commune administrative unit, it is possible to consider naming in the direction of selecting the name of the district administrative unit to name the commune -level administrative unit in the central area.
