Prime Minister Hun Manet expressed his pleasure at the comprehensive good development of Cambodia - Vietnam relations, bringing benefits to the people of each country, especially in connecting the two economies of Vietnam - Cambodia, Vietnam - Cambodia - Laos, connecting infrastructure, tourism, trade, agriculture, industry and other areas of cooperation.
Prime Minister Hun Manet affirmed that Cambodia will work with Vietnam to protect, preserve, and nurture the relationship between the two countries to continue to develop to new heights and pass it on to future generations.
Prime Minister Hun Manet emphasized that Cambodia values, develops and further deepens Cambodia-Vietnam relations; affirmed that it will closely coordinate with Vietnam to effectively implement the commitments and agreements between senior leaders of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the CPP, especially to implement the results of the High-Level Meeting between the Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the CPP Standing Committee, and the Meeting between the three leaders of the three parties Vietnam - Cambodia - Laos in February 2026.
General Secretary and President To Lam affirmed that Vietnam always supports the cause of building and developing Cambodia; emphasized the importance of the relationship between the two Parties, the two countries Vietnam - Cambodia and the three Parties, the three countries Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos are precious assets of the three countries; proposed to promote the effectiveness of cooperation mechanisms, including the meeting mechanism between the three Prime Ministers, the three Ministers of National Defense, the three Ministers of Public Security, and the three Ministers of Foreign Affairs.
General Secretary and President To Lam expressed his pleasure at the extensive developments of cooperative relations between the two countries, especially the relationship between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the CPP, with political trust as the foundation, defense and security cooperation continuing to be a solid pillar, bilateral trade turnover growing strongly, youth cooperation becoming increasingly rich, and Vietnamese people increasingly stabilizing their lives and contributing to the locality.
The two sides emphasized the role of the Party in strategic orientation for the overall bilateral relationship, closely directing the Government, ministries, and sectors to concretize the achieved results; emphasized the strategic significance of the relationship between the two Parties, the two countries and between the three Parties, the three countries Vietnam - Cambodia - Laos in the new situation; shared the vision of the role of science and technology in economic development and prioritized improving the quality of cooperation between the two countries and the three countries.
The two sides agreed to organize solemn activities to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries (June 24, 1967 - June 24, 2027); continue to promote people-to-people diplomacy, strengthen education and propaganda about the significance and historical value of the relationship between the two countries so that the young generation of the two countries can further promote their sense of responsibility, consolidate and nurture the lasting development of the relationship between the two countries.
The two sides emphasized strengthening the connection of youth between Vietnam - Cambodia, the three countries Vietnam - Cambodia - Laos, and promoting the effectiveness of the Young Leader Training Program for the three parties Vietnam - Cambodia - Laos.
