Politburo member and President Luong Cuong and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation have just successfully concluded their working trip to attend the 32nd APEC Summit Week and work bilaterally in Korea, at the invitation of President of the Republic of Korea Lee Jae Myung.
Regarding the outstanding results of President Luong Cuong's working trip, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Hang emphasized: "The working trip of President Luong Cuong was a great success with many important milestones, both on the multilateral and bilateral levels".
The Deputy Foreign Minister pointed out that, firstly, the President has clearly affirmed Vietnam's viewpoints and approaches to major issues facing the development future of the region and the world.
The President also made proposals and solutions to make APEC cooperation more and more substantial and effective, to properly respond to the rapid changes that are happening and bring practical benefits to the development of the region and each member economy.
Secondly, the President conveyed to the APEC community a clear message about Vietnam's vision, policies and determination to strongly innovate, especially the major Resolutions on national development in the new era.
Through this activity, Vietnam has deeply shared development orientations, promoted investment attraction, promoted cooperation in priority areas such as digital transformation, green transformation, innovation and high-quality human resource development.
The speeches and messages of President Luong Cuong have made a strong impression on leaders and the business community about a Vietnam determined to innovate, create, and integrate to rise up and move forward with the times in the current period of profound transformation.
Third, within the framework of the working trip to attend the 32nd APEC Summit Week, President Luong Cuong had a rich, effective and substantial bilateral working program with host Korea and many APEC member economies.
The President held talks with the President of the Republic of Korea, received local leaders of the Republic of Korea, met with the Vietnamese community in the southeastern region of the Republic of Korea, contributing to deepening political trust and the Vietnam - Korea Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
The President also held many talks and contacts with leaders and heads of delegations of most APEC member economies to continuously strengthen good relations and multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and its partners, especially promoting economic, trade, investment, science and technology cooperation and new areas such as digital transformation, green transformation, artificial intelligence, etc.
"What is very happy is that APEC members and the business community all enthusiastically support, express their confidence and express their hope to visit Vietnam and Phu Quoc in 2027 to attend the activities of the APEC Year 2027 hosted by Vietnam.
