On the afternoon of November 12, at the Presidential Palace, Politburo member and President Luong Cuong presided over the welcoming ceremony for King Jordan Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein on an official visit to Vietnam.
King Hashemite Jordan Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein will pay an official visit to Vietnam from November 12-13, at the invitation of President Luong Cuong.
Accompanying the King of Jordan during his visit to Vietnam were: Prince Ghazi bin Mohammad - Chief Advisor to the Royal Commission on religion and culture; Mr. Ayman Hussein Abdullah safadi - Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Rural Development; Mr. Alaa Arif Saad Batayneh - Chief of the King's Office; Mr. Yarub Falah Mefleh Qudah - Minister of Industry and Trade and Supply; Mr. Mo'ath Abdelman S. Alzo'bi - Director of the Royal Political Department (equivalent to Minister); Mr. Yazan A. M. Abu-hantash - Director of the Department of Investment and Business (equivalent to Minister); Dr. Sa'edid Khanhideh - Ambassador appointed to the Kingdom of Hashemite Jordan in Vietnam.

The visit of King Jordan Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein to Vietnam is very important, taking place in the context of the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries (August 9, 1980 until August 9, 2025).
This is the first visit of the head of the Kingdom of Jordan to Vietnam and the first delegation of heads of state/government between the two countries since the establishment of diplomatic relations.
This is also the first visit of a Middle Eastern head of state to visit Vietnam in 9 years. The visit marked a historic milestone in the bilateral relationship, opening a new phase of cooperation, creating a premise for promoting cooperation in areas of mutual interest to both sides.
