At the invitation of Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Singapore Seah Kian Peng and his wife, and Speaker of the House of Councilors of Japan Sekiguchi Masakazu and his wife, at noon on December 1, Speaker of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man and his wife Nguyen Thi Thanh Nga and a high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese National Assembly left Hanoi for official visits to the Republic of Singapore and Japan.
On the same afternoon, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and his wife, along with a high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese National Assembly, arrived at Changi Airport, beginning an official visit to the Republic of Singapore.

Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Do Duc Duy; Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Ha Tinh province Hoang Trung Dung;

The visit aims to implement the foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, diversification and multilateralization of foreign relations of the 13th National Party Congress and Resolution No. 34-NQ/TW dated January 9, 2023 of the Politburo on a number of major orientations and policies to implement the foreign policy of the 13th National Party Congress; promote cooperation between the Vietnamese National Assembly and the Singaporean Parliament and the Japanese Parliament; promote the Vietnam-Singapore Strategic Partnership; affirm Vietnam's importance to the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for peace and prosperity in Asia and the world Vietnam - Japan.
This is an opportunity for high-ranking delegations from the Vietnamese National Assembly, the Singaporean National Assembly and the Japanese Parliament to discuss international and regional issues of mutual concern.
The visit also aims to share information and experience in parliamentary activities between Vietnam, Singapore and Japan; demonstrating the concern of the Vietnamese Party and State for the overseas Vietnamese community.
