On December 2, the People's Committee of Lang Son province held a conference to announce the decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on personnel work and appointment of the position of Deputy Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office.
At the conference, the leaders of the Department of Home Affairs announced Decision No. 2568 dated November 28, 2025 of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Vi Thien Viet, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Chi Lang Commune, to hold the position of Deputy Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office from December 2, 2025.
The term of appointment is 5 years.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Doan Thanh Son - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the appointment of Comrade Vi Thien Viet to the position of Deputy Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office will contribute to perfecting the apparatus, ensuring the force and personnel for the work of advising, synthesizing, and serving the direction and operation of the Provincial People's Committee in the current period.
The leaders of the Provincial People's Committee requested the new Deputy Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office to quickly approach the work, proactively update knowledge and skills to adapt to new requirements; at the same time, promote practical experience from the grassroots, continue to practice and learn to meet assigned tasks.
Along with that, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee Office to continue to assign scientific and reasonable tasks; support and create conditions for Comrade Vi Thien Viet to soon grasp the areas of responsibility; promote the spirit of solidarity and responsibility, and successfully complete the task of advising and synthesizing for the Provincial People's Committee.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Vi Thien Viet expressed his appreciation for the trust and confidence of the provincial leaders. He affirmed that he will strive to work with the Provincial People's Committee Office to successfully complete the assigned tasks, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the Provincial People's Committee's direction and operation activities.
