The ceremony to announce the Prime Minister's Decision to transfer and appoint Deputy Minister of Justice for Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ngoc took place on March 5, in Hanoi.

Attending and speaking at the ceremony, Central Party Committee member and Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long congratulated Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ngoc on being assigned a new responsibility at a central agency and congratulated the Ministry of Justice on having another leader.

The Deputy Prime Minister said that in recent times, the Ministry of Justice has made many changes in the arrangement of units under the Ministry and personnel adjustments.

"However, we are still sticking close to work and there are no interruptions in the organization of work implementation, even in very urgent and unprecedented matters," the Deputy Prime Minister said and gave an example of the revised draft Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents (amended) that the Ministry of Justice is implementing with a fundamental change in thinking on law making, organization and enforcement.

The Deputy Prime Minister also hopes that new Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Ngoc, with experience from the grassroots, from many different working positions, will make important contributions to the common work of the Ministry of Justice. At the same time, the Ministry of Justice continues to promote the spirit of solidarity, supporting Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ngoc to excellently complete the assigned tasks.

At the ceremony, Minister of Justice Nguyen Hai Ninh said that currently, the workload of the Ministry of Justice is increasing, requiring high requirements for quality and progress.

"We believe that Comrade Nguyen Thanh Ngoc will quickly grasp the work, continue to promote his courage and work experience to work with the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the leaders of the Ministry of Justice to excellently complete the assigned tasks" - Minister Nguyen Hai Ninh emphasized.

Accepting the opinions of the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Justice, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Ngoc hopes to receive the attention, support, help, and experience sharing of the Party Committee, leaders of the Ministry of Justice, cadres, civil servants, and public employees of the Judiciary in performing their duties.

On this occasion, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Ngoc expressed his gratitude to the cadres and leaders of Tay Ninh province for accompanying them throughout the past working journey.

"May I keep my affection in my heart, cherish it, preserve the image of my homeland and people of Tay Ninh, be fair, joyful, hospitable, responsible, and loyal in my new journey" - Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ngoc shared.

Before being appointed as Deputy Minister of Justice, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ngoc was Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province.
