On February 28, Dong Thap province announced the decision on organizing the apparatus and mobilizing and arranging officers of the Provincial Police.
At the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee (PPC) Tran Tri Quang praised the sense of responsibility, solidarity and unity of all officers and soldiers in the past time.
The Vice Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee also acknowledged the voluntary spirit of comrades who have applied for early retirement from their service in the industry, creating favorable conditions for the implementation of the policy of streamlining the apparatus and organizing Party Congresses at all levels in the Public Security force.
Mr. Quang noted that Dong Thap Provincial Police, based on the direction of the Ministry of Public Security, urgently deploy activities according to the new organizational model, ensuring clear, synchronous, and consistent tasks, not interrupting work, not leaving any vacant areas or fields, ensuring effectiveness in security, order and serving the people; continue to pay attention to implementing solutions to lead and direct the work to ensure security and order in line with the model of the two-level Police in the locality, according to the motto "Comprehensive Province; Strong Commune, adhering to the grassroots".
At the ceremony, the Provincial Police announced decisions to mobilize and arrange over 600 comrades at the district level and the professional departments of the Provincial Police, including mobilizing and arranging leaders at the department level and district police for 67 comrades.
Accordingly, the Provincial Police have completed the organizational arrangement in accordance with the direction of the Ministry of Public Security; after streamlining, 12 police units of districts and cities have been reduced.
