On September 25, National Assembly Delegation No. 15 - Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation held a meeting with voters before the 10th session, with voters of Ba Ria, Long Huong and Tam Long wards. Mr. Tran Luu Quang - Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee attended and chaired the conference.
At the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen - Member of the 15th National Assembly - reported to voters about the program of the upcoming 10th National Assembly session, which will open on October 20, 2025 and close on December 12, 2025. The session will take place continuously, in a centralized manner in Hanoi; and the National Assembly will discuss and consider approving many draft laws and resolutions.
At the same time, Ms. Huynh Thi Phuc - Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation - also reported a summary of the country's economic development situation in the first 8 months of 2025; and of Ho Chi Minh City in the first months of 2025; some plans expected to be implemented in the coming time. National Assembly delegate Duong Tan Quan reported the results of responding to voters' opinions and recommendations of central agencies and Ho Chi Minh City; activities in the last months of 2025.
At the conference, voter Dang Minh Quang made recommendations on resolving backlogs and shortcomings in infrastructure after the merger such as: resolving the problem of flooding after rain on some roads, some areas have not been provided with water; the issue of arranging headquarters after the merger to avoid waste; the wish to join Saigon University of many lecturers of Ba Ria Pedagogical College to work with peace of mind, promote training efficiency.
Many voters have made recommendations on the shortcomings, problems, and delays in resolving problems for people in compensation for land acquisition for site clearance in Ba Ria City before... As well as recommended resolving some issues that have been resolved for people but are delayed in implementation.
Some of the voters' petitions were answered by ward representatives right at the conference. Some other opinions and recommendations of voters will be fully compiled and sent to competent authorities for resolution and response to the recommendations in the coming time.
Before the meeting with voters, Ho Chi Minh City Party Secretary Tran Luu Quang and the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation, along with leaders of Ba Ria, Tam Long, and Long Huong wards, visited and offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at Long Phuoc Martyrs' Temple and Hoa Long Martyrs' Temple.
