The entries for this year’s Anti-Corruption, Waste and Negativity Journalism Award will include popular content, the Party’s guidelines and policies, the State’s policies and laws on anti-corruption and negativity. Especially the Party’s new policies and regulations on controlling power, preventing corruption and negativity, regulations on dismissal, resignation, and responsibility of leaders when violations occur.
Reflecting the role and results of the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, the press and the people in participating in the fight against corruption, negativity and waste. Propagating and reflecting good experiences, good and effective practices of central agencies and localities in the fight against corruption, negativity and waste.
Mr. Le Van Trung, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City said: "This press award aims to affirm the role of the press in propaganda work on preventing and combating corruption, negativity, waste, group interests, preventing and combating signs of degradation, "self-evolution", "self-transformation" within the Party, contributing to the work of building an increasingly clean and strong Party. Reflecting on current policies, guidelines and regulations that are still inadequate, lacking in consistency, and easily exploited to commit acts of corruption. Recommending, proposing and perfecting mechanisms to contribute to preventing acts of corruption and negativity".
Contestants are Vietnamese citizens at home and abroad whose press works meet the criteria and rules of the award, published and broadcast on all types of press (print, electronic, radio, television) from the launch date to April 30, 2025. Groups of authors, works, and individuals can submit a maximum of 5 works in 1 or more categories to participate in the award.
