On the morning of December 31, Da Nang City People's Committee held a conference to announce decisions on the organizational structure and personnel work.
According to the announced decisions, the Quang Nam Construction Investment Management Board was merged into the Da Nang Civil, Industrial and Technical Infrastructure Construction Investment Project Management Board. After the merger, this board has 8 professional departments.
The Quang Nam Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board is also merged into the Da Nang Traffic and Agricultural Construction Investment Project Management Board, with a structure of 8 professional departments.
Regarding personnel work, the Chairman of the City People's Committee decided to receive Mr. Nguyen Minh Huy - Director of the Da Nang Traffic and Agricultural Construction Investment Project Management Board - to become a civil servant and appoint him to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training.
Many other leading officials were also transferred and appointed to hold positions of Deputy Directors at the project management boards after the merger, including Mr. Tran Canh Ha, Nguyen Hong Lam, Nguyen Tuan Phong, Do Thanh Lam, Nguyen Ngoc Tan, Nguyen Cong Thanh, Tran Duy Phuc and Ms. Phan Thi Ha. Mr. Nguyen Van Thuong was appointed to hold the position of Director of the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Transport and Agricultural Works in Da Nang. The appointment decisions are all valid for 5 years.
In addition, the City People's Committee also decided to transfer projects and human resources from regional project management boards to commune and ward People's Committees, arranged at commune-level Public Service Service Supply Centers, to ensure continuous project implementation from January 2026.
