On March 21, President Luong Cuong signed Decision No. 367/QD-CTN on awarding the First Class Labor Medal to the Party Committee, government and people of Da Nang City for "Having outstanding achievements in digital transformation, tourism development, social security, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland". This decision is based on the Prime Minister's submission dated March 17.
This is a worthy recognition of Da Nang's tireless efforts in socio-economic development, while affirming the city's position on the economic and tourism map of the country. The application of information technology in management, operation and provision of public services has helped Da Nang become one of the pioneering localities in the field of digital transformation. Da Nang has also achieved remarkable achievements in developing sustainable tourism, attracting a large number of domestic and foreign tourists, while ensuring social security for the people.
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the City Liberation Day (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2025), the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Da Nang City Party Committee (March 28, 1930 - March 28, 2025), Da Nang has planned to organize a series of diverse and rich commemorative activities. In which, the official ceremony will take place on the morning of March 29 at Tien Son Sports Palace with the participation of about 4,000 delegates.
