Having followed the Party Congresses many times, but Mr. Tran Van An (born in 1956, Head of Vi Hoang 1 residential group, Nam Dinh ward) said that this Congress is of very special significance.
In the context of the country's strong development and increasingly deep integration, the policies approved at the Congress will create a solid foundation and long-term orientation for the development of the country and the future of the nation in the coming years.
With nearly 40 years of attachment and dedication to grassroots movement work, Mr. An always has full faith in the leadership of the Party. According to him, building a clean and strong Party is not only a regular and long-term task but also an urgent requirement in the current context.
He expressed his belief and expectation that the 14th Party Congress will continue to propose stronger and more effective solutions in Party rectification, resolutely fighting against corruption, wastefulness, and negativity to consolidate trust in the people.
From the practical work in the residential area, Mr. An also expressed his desire that the documents at the 14th Party Congress continue to pay more attention to improving the cultural and spiritual life of the people.
He believes that along with economic development, the Party and State will continue to improve the social security system, focusing on investment in health and education; and at the same time issue preferential policies on health insurance, medical examination and treatment, especially for the elderly and families in difficult circumstances, so that all people can enjoy development achievements.
Having spent more than half his life attached to the fields, Mr. Ha Van Le, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Quy Nhat commune, emotionally shared that never before has the role and position of farmers been enhanced as it is now when the Draft Document of the 14th Party Congress continues to affirm the view that farmers are the subject, the center in the strategy of developing agriculture, rural economy and building new rural areas.
Mr. Le expressed his expectation that in the next term, the Party and State will have more synchronous policies to remove difficulties for agricultural production, especially in the context of increasingly complex natural disasters, high material prices, while the output for agricultural products is unstable.
At the same time, the Party and State promulgate mechanisms and policies to promote the restructuring of the agricultural sector towards modernity and sustainability, especially developing concentrated production areas to improve the quality and value of agricultural products.
In addition, people also want the Congress to pay more attention to completing rural infrastructure systems, especially inter-field transportation and irrigation; strengthen support for science and technology transfer, promote green agriculture, organic agriculture, and adapt to climate change. Along with that are policies to encourage businesses to invest in agriculture, create jobs, and improve income for rural people.
Through monitoring the working sessions of the Congress, Mr. Do Dinh Diem, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Vi Khe ward, expressed deep appreciation for the Report on documents submitted to the 14th Party Congress presented by General Secretary To Lam.
The report clearly shows the crystallization of collective wisdom, which is the result of the process of collecting in-depth opinions among cadres, party members and people from all walks of life; at the same time, clearly identifying the key focuses and strategic breakthroughs for the next term, especially emphasizing the key role of the "people's heart battle", ensuring that all policies and decisions are directed towards the interests of the people, firmly consolidating the people's trust in the Party.
The report on documents submitted to the 14th Party Congress clearly defined the goal of rapid and sustainable development, with the desire to bring the country into a new stage of development.
Accordingly, Vietnam strives to achieve an average GDP growth rate of 10%/year or more for the period 2026-2030, and average GDP per capita by 2030 to reach about 8,500 USD/year... The major orientations of the Central Government have received high consensus and deep trust from all walks of life in the process of implementation.
Along with high consensus on goals and development orientations, local people expect the Congress to wisely select a team of leading cadres for the next term who are full of heart and stature, meeting the requirements of building and protecting the Fatherland in the new situation, creating a solid foundation for the country to achieve development goals by 2030, becoming a developing country with modern industry and high middle-income income; realizing the vision to become a developed and high-income country by 2045.
Regarding the development of the locality in the coming term, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Vi Khe ward expects the policies from the 14th Party Congress to create favorable conditions for the locality to maximize its special advantages.
On that basis, the ward focuses on mobilizing and effectively using resources, prioritizing investment in building transport and irrigation infrastructure; developing a green and sustainable economy associated with ecotourism and experiential tourism, contributing to improving people's lives and incomes so that the whole country can firmly step into a new era of development, prosperity and happiness.
