On November 12, in Hanoi, the Organizing Committee to serve the 14th National Party Congress held the first meeting of the Congress Press Center.
According to information at the meeting, the Organizing Committee for the 14th National Party Congress has issued a decision to establish a Press Center at the Congress. The Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee issued documents on the organization and operation of the 14th National Party Congress Press Center as well as regulations on the Center's operations.
The Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee shall preside over the development of conditions, standards, and criteria for reporters, editors, and technicians participating in reporting at the Press Center; send documents requesting press agencies to send staff to participate in the Press Center, and at the same time request the leaders of press agencies to disseminate the Press Center's operating regulations to staff, reporters, and editors participating in reporting at the 14th Congress.
By November 10, 102 central and local press and radio agencies had registered to make press career cards at the Congress for nearly 600 reporters, editors, and technicians.

At the meeting, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee Lai Xuan Mon highly appreciated the efforts of leaders and members of the Congress Press Center; relevant agencies and units in preparing to organize the 14th National Party Congress, especially the contents in the work of directing, orienting, guiding information and propaganda in the press about Party congresses at all levels and the 14th National Party Congress;
Reviewing and compiling a list of domestic and international reporters registering to report on the Congress; preparing plans to display books and newspapers and preparing conditions to ensure technical facilities, technological infrastructure, and finance to serve information, propaganda, and reporting activities on the 14th Congress.
The 14th National Party Congress is scheduled to take place in mid-January 2026. Mr. Lai Xuan Mon emphasized that this is a political event of special importance to the Party and the country. Therefore, information and propaganda work about the Congress; the organization and operation of the 14th Congress Press Center need to be carefully prepared, thoughtful, methodical, scientifically, closely coordinated, unified with a high sense of responsibility, implemented resolutely and effectively, creating a strong spread throughout society, to all cadres, party members and people.
Mr. Lai Xuan Mon suggested that leaders, members of the Congress Press Center, and leaders of related units make greater efforts, be more determined, and urgently implement some contents.
The Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee requested to closely follow the Guidelines on the press to propagate Party congresses at all levels and the 14th National Party Congress; the Central's policies, viewpoints and tasks on organizing the 14th National Party Congress to direct press agencies to develop plans and programs, open specialized pages, columns, topics, create event lines, launch peak periods, focus on profound, prominent propaganda, on schedule, and at the stature of the 14th National Party Congress.
