On the afternoon of December 23, information from the Department of Home Affairs of Dak Lak province said that in 2024, the province was assigned 2,920 positions, a decrease of 35 positions compared to 2023.
The province has currently recruited 2,799 positions. The number of unused civil servant positions as of October 30, 2024 is 121 positions.
The reason for the underutilization is that some civil servants have retired or quit their jobs. Agencies and units have developed plans to propose the Provincial People's Committee to consider converting civil servants and commune-level officials and civil servants into civil servants according to regulations.
Regarding the civil servant establishment, in 2024, 37,293 positions will be assigned, a decrease of 739 positions compared to 2023.
The number of civil servants receiving salaries from the State budget, not yet used as of October 30, 2024, is 316 positions.
The reason is that units are reserving staff resources to streamline the 2025 schedule. Some units have not recruited in time or have recruited without any applicants.
In addition, the province has not yet fully utilized the 41 employees receiving salaries from public career revenue sources.
The reason is that Dak Lak has implemented a financial autonomy mechanism for public service units and increased the level of autonomy.
However, in the period of 2022 - 2026, the province has not yet achieved the goal of having at least 10% of public service units with financial autonomy.
