Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Decisions to transfer and appoint a number of Deputy Ministers of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

In Decision No. 326/QD-TTg dated February 19, 2025, the Prime Minister transferred and appointed Mr. Le Van Thanh - Deputy Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) - to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Home Affairs.

Mr. Le Van Thanh was born in 1964, has a PhD in economics, originally from Tinh Gia district, Thanh Hoa.

Mr. Le Van Thanh has worked for many years and held a number of positions in the Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs sector, such as: Head of the Vietnam Labor Management Board in Japan, Deputy Director of the Department of Overseas Labor Management, Director of the Department of Social Disaster Prevention.

In 2014, Mr. Le Van Thanh was elected Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province. In 2019, he was transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.

In Decision No. 336/QD-TTg dated February 19, 2025, the Prime Minister transferred and appointed Mr. Nguyen Van Hoi - Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs - to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Home Affairs.

The new Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Nguyen Van Hoi was born in 1970, hometown An Thi district (Hung Yen province), professional qualification: PhD in Economics, Senior Political Theory.

Before being appointed as Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoi had worked for many years at the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, holding many positions, such as: Head of the Department of Social Work (Department of Social Protection), Deputy Director of the Department of Social Protection, Director of the Department of Social Protection, Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.

In Decision No. 368/QD-TTg dated February 19, 2025, the Prime Minister transferred and appointed Mr. Nguyen Ba Hoan - Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs - to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Home Affairs.

New Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan, born in 1967, hometown: Nga Hai commune, Nga Son district, Thanh Hoa province. Professional qualifications: Construction economics engineer, Bachelor of Economics in Finance, Senior Political Theory.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan has many years of working at the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs: From 1993 to 2007, working at the Department of Overseas Labor Management; in 2007, he was appointed to the position of Deputy Chief of Office of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs; Chief of Office of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.

In Decision No. 396/QD-TTg dated February 25, 2025, the Prime Minister transferred and appointed Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha - Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs - to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Home Affairs.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha was born in 1971, from Ha Tinh. Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha has held the following positions: Deputy Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union; Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the 9th Youth Union, Chairwoman of the Central Council of the Young Pioneers; Deputy Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee.

The above decisions take effect from March 1, 2025.
