On November 18, 2024, in Hanoi, the Central Inspection Commission held its 51st meeting. Mr. Tran Cam Tu - Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission - chaired the meeting.
At this Session, the Central Inspection Commission (CIC) reviewed and concluded the following contents:
1- Implementing the direction of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity; after reviewing the Report on the results of the proposal to discipline party members who violated the law at the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee, the Central Inspection Committee found that:
The following individuals: Pham Van Vong - former member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Phung Quang Hung - former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ha Hoa Binh - former member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, member of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee - have degraded in political ideology, morality, and lifestyle; violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks, in preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity, in organizing and implementing projects implemented by Phuc Son Group Joint Stock Company; violated regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, causing very serious consequences, huge losses to the state budget, public outrage, and very bad effects on the reputation of the Party organization and local government, to the point of having to take disciplinary action.
Based on Party regulations, the Central Inspection Committee requests competent authorities to consider and discipline the following individuals: Pham Van Vong, Phung Quang Hung, and Ha Hoa Binh.
2- Considering the results of the implementation of the inspection and supervision conclusions of a number of organizations and individuals, the Central Inspection Commission requests the Standing Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Central Secretariat of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and a number of related individuals to continue to lead, direct and seriously implement the conclusions of the Central Inspection Commission.
3- Also at this Session, the Central Inspection Committee reviewed and resolved the denunciation of 1 case and reviewed and concluded a number of other important contents.
