The Ministry of National Defense has issued Instruction 4705/HD-BQP on the selection and calling of citizens for military service in 2025.
One of the contents that receives much attention in the selection and calling of citizens for military service is the criteria, standards, and quotas for calling female citizens for military service.
Instruction No. 4705/HD-BQP of the Ministry of National Defense states the selection and calling of female citizens to join the army in 2025 as follows:
In addition to the general conditions and standards as for selecting and calling male citizens to join the army (clear background; strictly comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; be healthy enough to serve in the army according to regulations; have appropriate educational level), female citizens must have a voluntary application to serve in the Army, confirmed by the family representative and the People's Committee of the commune where they permanently reside, and meet the following specific conditions and standards:
Age: From 18 to 25 years old; citizens who have graduated from college or university are from 27 years old; unmarried and have no children.
Health: Meet health standards of type 1 and type 2 according to Circular No. 105/2023/TT-BQP; height is from 1.60m or more, balanced appearance, fresh appearance.
Technical expertise: Graduated from intermediate level or higher; priority is given to citizens who have graduated from university or college with a major suitable for the needs of the Army. In case of talent, it will be implemented according to separate regulations of the Ministry of National Defense.
Units assigned with the quota of recruiting female citizens for military service proactively coordinate with localities to select and ensure that they meet the prescribed conditions and standards; are recruited in localities nationwide (recruitment separately) and are included in the 2025 military recruitment quota of the locality and unit; after recruitment, coordinate and hand over to the Hanoi Capital Command (for units in the North), the Military Region 7 Command (for units in the South) for training, ensuring that all procedures and documents are completed, on time, absolutely safe and that military numbers are managed in accordance with regulations.
Agencies and units under the Ministry assigned with the quota for recruiting female citizens shall direct their agencies and units to closely coordinate with localities to organize the selection of female citizens for military service, ensuring that they meet the prescribed conditions and standards, and shall be responsible to the Minister of National Defense for the quality of female citizens enlisted in the unit.
According to Instruction 4705/HD-BQP of the Ministry of National Defense, in 2025, there will be a selection and call-up of citizens for military service (hereinafter referred to as military recruitment) in one batch; the military transfer period is from February 13 to February 15, 2025 (from January 16 to January 18, At Ty year).
